If you are using Google Classroom, you can now incorporate content from Issues & Controversies into your Classroom courses with the click of a button. Sharing to Google Classroom is offered as a free service.
- Click on the Google Classroom button to add this record. You must have a Google Classroom account to use this service.
If you are not already logged into Google, you will be prompted to sign in to your Google account.
- Once you have successfully signed in, you will be presented with a drop down menu to Choose a class.
- You will then be presented with a Choose action drop down menu. This menu allows you to select how you want to share your chosen content.
- Your four choices of action are:
- Create assignment
- Ask question
- Make an announcement
- Create Material
- Your four choices of action are:
- Make your selection and click the Go button to proceed.
For each option, Google Classroom automatically pulls in the record link. As long as you are logged in to Issues & Controversies, this link will still redirect you to the selected title.
- After you have edited your material, click Post to post the record to your class.
- You will be taken to a confirmation page. Click the View button to view your course.
The most recent shared record will appear at the top of your course.
